Fresh Street Vouchers

Households in target areas (e.g. streets) receive regular vouchers.

Paper Fresh Street vouchers are delivered to the door, or distributed via a community centre

Vouchers can only be used with local independent fresh fruit and vegetable vendors (e.g. market stall, shop, mobile van), not supermarkets.

Households give vouchers to vendors in exchange for fruit and vegetable.

Vendors scan the vouchers at end of day or week using a simple mobile phone friendly app.

Vendors paid for all vouchers scanned weekly/ monthly.

Secure voucher system

Our partners A1SP have developed a smartphone cross-platform web-based App that enables  retailers to scan in the Veri-Secure QR code on the voucher to redeem.

App is accessed via secure log-in via a smartphone browser and the Veri-Secure QR code is encrypted and can only be read using the Veri-Secure Authenticate web-based App.

Each retailer creates an account. Once logged in the retailer can scan the vouchers through the app and it will log the value of that voucher against their business.

Once a voucher has been scanned the app will log that particular voucher as redeemed. If the voucher is scanned again (or a copy of the voucher with the same QR code) then the App will not accept it and display a message stating that this voucher has already been redeemed.
