Fresh Street – building healthier food systems one voucher at a time

Dr Clare Relton and Dr Michelle Thomas will share findings from Fresh Street schemes in nine urban areas of high deprivation. They will describe how the secure, adaptable and scalable Fresh Street model can tackle household food insecurity and inequality in access to affordable fruit and vegetables. They will share how Fresh Street can be used to increase community connectivity – linking people to local resources (markets, community centres and community gardens), and each other!
